3rd-5th Grade Overnight Camps to Consider This Summer
The Road Family Ministry is passionate about helping children and youth grow in faith, build friendships, and experience God in meaningful ways. As our ministry continues to grow, we’ve reimagined our summer plans to better serve our families and create space for exciting new opportunities. While we won’t attend an overnight camp together in 2026, we’re offering several great camp options for families to explore—and we’re already looking forward to an incredible McDermott Children’s overnight camp experience in 2027!
As you plan 2026 summer activities for your child, here are some overnight camp options you may want to consider.
Camp Blue Haven
Centered on Jesus, Camp Blue Haven provides a safe and fun environment where students learn age-appropriate, relevant life lessons. Set in the breathtaking Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico, Camp Blue Haven features streams, waterfalls, and forest trails that invite everyone to get outside and experience God’s creation. Campers are encouraged to overcome challenges through physical and spiritual growth, building character and resilience. Along the way, they form genuine, lasting relationships with peers and mentors—connections that continue long after camp ends.
McDermott Families have traditionally gone to Session 1.
Registration for returning campers is January 1st – 14th and opens for new campers January 15th @ 9 pm CST
