Kindergarten Recognition
May 17, 2026
During both services, we will take a moment to recognize our children who are completing kindergarten. This brief presentation at the start of service will include a special prayer and presentation of Bibles to these honored children.

Preschool-aged children are invited to beat the heat with some indoor fun! We welcome parents to meet up with friends for fellowship as your young children enjoy the indoor playground. Parent supervision required.
Promotion Sunday

The start of the summer quarter marks the first day of children and teens promoting to the next age or grade for Bible classes. We look forward to seeing everyone’s growth in their new classes!
Kidsgiving
First Sunday of the Month
The first Sunday of each month, kids are invited to participate in worship through giving during our morning services. Kids can contribute with a monetary donation or an encouraging note or picture. All proceeds will help us love our community through a donation to Minnie’s Food Pantry to feed those in need.
Pee Wee Camp
June 8-10, 2026
Pee Wee Camp is a fun-filled three-day mini camp for potty-trained children ages 3-5. Kids will learn Bible stories, enjoy playtime with peers, sing, and make crafts.

Summer is coming, and we couldn’t be more excited! ☀️
Our 3rd–5th Grade Summer Day Camp is a wonderful opportunity for kids to build meaningful friendships and grow deeper in God’s Word.
We’ll spend three fun-filled days together at the church building with a service day, an off-campus adventure, water activities, and so much more!
More details are coming soon, and registration will open at the end of April. We can’t wait for all that God has in store this summer!

South Texas Mission Trip

What: We load up on the vans and caravan down to McAllen, Texas where we will work with local congregations and families.
Where: We will spend our nights in a facility McDermott Road members visits often throughout the year. During the day we will be all around the McAllen & Pharr areas.
When: June 20th - 25th
How much: $130/student. Includes lodging, food, travel, and fun.

Kids’ Bible Adventure

Who: Children 3 years old (and potty-trained) though 5th Grade
When: Saturday, July 18 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
What: Kids’ Bible Adventure is an immersive experience that will transport children back to ancient Rome to learn all about Paul. Kids will learn through skits, song, small group lesson, crafts and games! Lunch and snacks are provided!
