MinistrySafe is a Safety System that provides churches with an effective means of enhancing child safety. MinistrySafe was created by legal professionals who are sexual abuse experts.

We believe that the MinistrySafe platform will better equip McDermott Road staff and volunteers to create a safe environment for kids. It is our desire to create an environment that protects our students from physical, emotional, sexual, and spiritual abuse. We believe ministries must be intentional to enhance child protection measures. It is our intention to be proactive rather than reactive in addressing this risk.

All volunteers and staff that interact with students (birth-18 years) are required to complete the MinistrySafe Sexual Abuse Awareness Training. Every volunteer also completes a criminal background check. Family Ministry staff have received additional training through the MinistrySafe Institute.
